School Supplies for Children’s Homes

The end of the year is always lively as parents and guardians alike scurry to get all supplies ready for their children before school begins in January. For some children, however, getting adequate supplies for their schooling activities can be an obstacle.

In order to give back to the society, the volunteers at MPLEX chose to donate school supplies to children in Penang Shan’s Children Home Association and Penang Ru Yi Home Association. The ultimate drive for this initiative is to equip the children so they are more prepared and motivated to learn at school.

Weeks before visiting the homes, MPLEX’s volunteers went into a state of frenzied to gather school supplies for the children. It was especially challenging to prepare fitting uniforms, socks and shoes for them. Nonetheless, seeing the smiles on the children’s faces when they receive their brand-new supplies made all efforts fruitful.

The volunteers hope that these children could brave through their lives at school and grow up to be successful individuals that make the country proud.
